General Notes on Login (as of September 2025)

Use the help search function to find specific login tips for your institution.

Please note:

Many banks and savings banks are still in a transition phase regarding the implementation and optimization of PSD2 interfaces. Therefore, there may be temporary changes, maintenance work, or outages.

fino generally supports connections to all banks that are available via the service’s bank search. The connection is established—depending on the technical availability and stability of the bank—either via the current PSD2 interface (XS2A, Berlin Group, etc.) or, if not yet fully converted, via the previous access (e.g., FinTS/HBCI+). For some institutions, switching between old and new interfaces may occur dynamically depending on their status and performance.

Important:

• Due to ongoing adjustments at the banks (e.g., new authentication procedures, TAN changes, temporary maintenance windows), there may be short-term problems or deviations during login.
• Current notices, specific tips, and any temporary restrictions will be displayed directly during login after selecting your bank.
• In case of repeated problems, it is recommended to check the help pages or contact support.
